Deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing away on April 27, 2023 of Mr. Praful Nikam, fondly known to many as Mr. STG, founder of Systems Task Group International (STG) and Keystone Solutions Pvt Ltd India.
My senior partner at STG – the company that we co-founded in the early 90s, my mentor and my friend for 30+ years, and more recently my co-founder again at Strawberry Technology Group, he was a true entrepreneur who proudly dreamt of and continually inspired us all to build the pioneering Renaissance and Paradigm brand of solutions for the US P&C insurance industry. He always reminded us to go beyond the call of duty to create loyal and happy customers who quickly became our friends in the industry.
When most IT businesses and professionals chose to service legacy systems in the industry using labor arbitrage, he inspired us to create modern and elegant solutions and in the process taught many of us what true grassroots entrepreneurship is all about. But most importantly he walked the talk every single day of his life, took the shots, and stood up tall for what he believed in. His spirit will live for a very long time in hundreds of STGites and Keystonians that he mentored, inspired, influenced, nurtured and cared for as well as at scores of STG clients and solutions that continue to be used by Majesco customers 3 decades later.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
